Recently we talked about the importance of asking your customer questions to help determine how well your business is doing.Hopefully you were able to ask these questions, and gained insight that not only helped you enhance your customer service, but also showed your customer that you care.

Now that you have discovered how to better serve your customer,
it is time to learn how to better serve yourself! These five questions will help you become a better person to yourself, your team AND your customer!

1. What is your mission? This may seem like an obvious question but it’s not. Your mission needs to be defined and redefined on a regular basis. As things change, so does the method in which your mission needs to achieved.

2. What do you enjoy most about your profession? You may have started out doing what you love, but as your business grows and things become more complicated you may have lost your energy and focus to grow.

3. How would you spend your time if you could choose? This  is your chance to daydream about those passions in life that you may have set aside as the years fly by.

4. What is your plan? Every mission must have a strategy for moving forward. With a well-thought out plan you will have a the tools to explain the next steps to your employees.

5. Why is now the right time? When you take the time to challenge yourself with questions, and take the time to answer them honestly, you will become a better person and business leader.

By answering these questions honestly, you will have a better understanding as to the strength of your mission, and develop a strong plan for your team. A satisfied team is the catalyst for your success, and your confidence as a business leader will touch every team member and customer that comes your way!
