All of us know that in sales it is easy to write off the end of the year as unproductive, in effect turning a 12-month selling year into a 10 or 11-month year. Yes, the customer is distracted, however this doesn’t mean you can’t be a bit proactive in laying the groundwork for a fast start in 2016! Here are a few tips to help you finish the year strong and show your customers you care.

Send your customers a note to thank them for choosing you in 2015. If you can remember, be sure to mention the services that you provided as well as any additional recommendation that may benefit them in 2016.

Schedule a visit to those loyal customers that have been a big part of your success in 2015. During your visit, be sure to ask questions and listen carefully as they give you feedback. You may walk away with some invaluable advice on ways to make 2016 an even better experience for your existing and new customers!

Gather your sales team for a brainstorming meeting. This is the perfect time of year to spend time asking questions and getting some feedback from those vital team members who are in touch with customers on a daily basis. As you listen to what they have to say, immediately start identifying where your customer service strengths lie, and where you need to tweak your process to work smarter. This time will be well spent as it will boost employee morale as well as, helping you find some last minute opportunities that will increase your sales going into the new year!

At R2R Marketing, we invite your feedback as to how we can better assist you in planning for a profitable 2016!
